El Paso Locomotive FC Oakland Sport reviews
Doobie Brothers in San Antonio
This show was just "canned" a little too much for my liking. The band sounded maybe too good, a little too perfect. The energetic and upbeat performance was not a disappointment; everyone was into it, and the audience wasn't disappointed. The vocals and music sounded just like back in the day. The Doobie's played everyone's favorites and a few new ones.
I love that these guys are still out there doing what they do so well. Seems funny to not see stacks of equipment and amps - just a little too clean on stage, almost corporate.
One more note, this was the shortest concert I've ever been to. One hour and twenty minutes with a standing O. Yikes, home before the ten o'clock news.
